Maria stepped out into the spotlight with her debut single "Why (You Confuse My Mind)" - the leading track to the Wallander movie "MasterMind", which premiered in December 2005 but is still very popular not at least due to the recent success in Germany and UK.

In the summer of 2006 the next single "Music Is" was released, which made it to Top 20 on the Swedish Singles Chart and has been frequently played on radio in sweden, denmark and all the way down to france.

In december 2006 Maria recorded a duet with the Danish songwriter and artist Brinck on his song "In The End I Started", the leading track for the second season of the successful danish TV series "Anna Pihl". Although Maria gives her full attention to writing and producing these days, you can still find her appearing on featuring projects, most recently with Moist (www.moist.se).
